LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF 2 KINGS 3:17-18 . Re-Post


"For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts."

10 KEYS , WHEN YOU CAN'T SEE A SIGN .  (FOR YOU)

1.When God wants to do something He doesn't announce it. "I love the suspense." "lol". wow , Amen. You can just walk into a shop and He will say "hey son/daughter look at your would be husband/wife at the counter" . "Sitting at home thinking what next ? A call comes through for a mouth watering job you never applied for " .He doesn't announce it . So be ready , that heart desire of yours is coming in the name of Jesus , Amen. Isaiah 64:4 (NIV)"Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him."
2. God is full of surprises . Get ready for yours in Jesus name , Amen. It usually comes when we are weary , tired and out , then all of a sudden from no where it happens. It will happen to you this season in the name of Jesus , Amen. Gal 6:9 (NIV) "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." The key is having a good attitude , while you wait. "lol" . It gets tiring at times , but is fun ,if you learn to just enjoy the wait . lol , hmm.
3.When God is training you to trust Him , He doesn,t give you signs . Is like walking on a tight rope with your eyes covered ."hmm", Thats what am going through right now , and I am like , Lord am going to fall , but I have this assurance of peace in my spirit , saying son trust me and keep walking . I am saying to someone today , just trust Him and keep walking . Amen. Isaiah 26:4 (NLT)"Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD God is the eternal Rock."
4.God specialises in the supernatural. 2 Kings 4:3-4 (NLT)"And Elisha said, “Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors. 4 Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.” believe only and you shall see it come to pass !
5.God does not need human effort to work out your miracle for you .He can do it directly. Gen 22:13 (NLT)" Then Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns in a thicket. So he took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering in place of his son."
6.He does what He pleases. He can choose to give you a sign like he did for Hezekiah and he can choose not to give you one . Don't define God !. Just open your heart out to him and let him do what he does best . "Miracles". Psalm 135:6 (NASB)"Whatever the LORD pleases, He does, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps."
7.When God says a thing , it is already done . He only brings it to our knowledge through scripture . Rev 21:6a (NIV) "He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. "
8.We always wonder how is God going to do this "thing" ? Whatever that "thing" is in your life , verse 18 is your reply .
9.You can only experience His goodness , when he sees you trust him. psalm 27:13 "I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living."
10. The key finally is this "real faith is absolutely believing God's word to be true." Roms 3:4(NLT)"Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true. As the Scriptures say about him, "You will be proved right in what you say, and you will win your case in court."

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF MARK 11:24

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."




10 KEYS -THE POWER OF OUR DESIRES.




1. If you don't desire it , you won't value it when you receive it. Luke 17:17.18(Amp)"Then Jesus asked, Were not [all] ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was there no one found to return and to recognize and give thanks and praise to God except this alien?" The reason , the nine never returned to give thanks , it was not a desire , so they never valued it.
2. There are two types of desires. unholy desire and a holy desire . God will never grant you the former. A Holy desire comes out of  a sincere heart . . James 4:3(ISV)"You ask for something but do not get it because you ask for it for the wrong reason—for your own pleasure."
3. your desire does not happen all of a sudden , but in the process of time, your desire for the very thing you love becomes strong.It is that strong feeling God response to. So do you truly desire it? That thing you want ?   Isaiah 28:10(NLT)"He tells us everything over and over--one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!"It grows in the process of time into a strong feeling.
4. you can pray for anything , but if there is no desire , it won't happen.why? There is no feelings attached to it . When you desire something , your prayers genuinely comes from the heart and that is where God looks at. your heart . Do you desire it?.Psalm 37:4(NIV)"Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
5. Your desire is what keeps you in the place of prayer .1 Kings 18:42(NLT)"So Ahab went to eat and drink. But Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and bowed low to the ground and prayed with his face between his knees." Elijah had a desire so he kept praying.
6. God is the one that lays the desire in our hearts , so we can request for it.We have no power of our own to strongly desire any good anything.  .psalm 33:15 (NET)"He is the one who forms every human heart, and takes note of all their actions. "
7. Desire is almost like the laws of attraction .you will attract what you desire.why? your feelings are the powers of your thought and the good thoughts we have comes from God. Jer 29:11  .Gen 1:27 (NIV)"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." 
8. Satan also works with our desires. Once he sees our negative desires to have something , he begins to work on us by presenting what we desire as a bait for us to fall into sin  .Gen 3:6(NIV)"When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. That wrong desire led to the fall of man . 
9. As long as you have the desire "Godly desire" , God will show you the way .psalm 32:8 (ESV)"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
10.Once you have a desire , you will receive it . why?. Prov 23:7a "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:"  That is why you need to guide your thoughts from having a negative desire .

 LIFE LESSONS FROM HE BOOK OF MARK 4:17 (NIV)


"But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.”




10 WAYS TO ALLOW HIS WORD TAKE ROOT IN YOUR SPIRIT .



1. Despise the shame , if not you will always hinder the word from taking root in your spirit . just simply ignore it and allow the word to do its work in your spirit man.once His promise takes root in your spirit , get ready , it will surely produce the needed results in your life . Is the key . Heb 12:2 (ESV)"looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
2. We live by faith not by sight . your sight (physical senses ) will never encourage you. why? Is never in agreement with the promise/word, His good will for your life. Avoid the offence and let the word take root."Someone once said patience is bitter , but the fruit is sweet". .Roms 8:7 (Amp)"the mind of the flesh [with its sinful pursuits] is actively hostile to God. It does not submit itself to God's law, since it cannot,.”
3. Increase your knowledge of the word . Why? What you know is what will protect you, encourage you , strengthen you ,when affliction and persecution comes as a result of the word. Prov 24:7 (ESV)"If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength"knowledge" is small." .
4. Pray without ceasing - prayer helps your spirit to remain fresh and rooted in God' word .When we pray we receive strength to overcome our challenges and hold on to the very word of God in the midst of our storms. For the word to take root , when you pray focus your mind on the promise with joy and try not to think negatively , it steals your joy. Praying with joy is the key to allowing his word take root in your heart . Remember Luke 18:1 (NLT)"One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.”
5. Anytime you are offended. You stop the word from taking root in your life. The key to avoiding the offence is simple . Count yourself blessed!! anytime you refuse to be offended by reason of the word . Amen. Luke 7:23 "And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.”
6. Be the first to forgive .forgiveness is a powerful tool , when it comes to letting His word take root in our lives. Key - you don't have that time to keep grudges . get your miracle and move on , let it be paramount in your mind. grudges have no rewards , the word does . Amen. . Matt 6:12 (GWT)"Forgive us as we forgive others." Do your part without delay . Amen.
7. Show more kindness still . It helps you to grow more in grace and gives the word deeper roots in your spirit . The reward from your kindness is usually huge . Prov 11:17(NLT)"Your kindness will reward you, but your cruelty will destroy you.".your flesh will fight against it , but God loves and honors those who are kind to the very people who despise us.
8. Avoid murmuring and complaining . Key it does more harm than good. It stops the word from taking root in your spirit . So whenever you find yourself in that mode . Remember !!lol. .James 5:9 "Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.". Once in a while we fall for it though , but we try as much as possible to avoid it and just be a blessing . Amen.
9. Turn the offence , worries , complaining into prayer and lay your petition before the Judge of the whole world . let Him handle it and not you . Amen. Phil 4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” why? Once the word is sown in your spirit ,the answers will surely come . Gen 8:22
10. Appreciating God always. It helps you to live in peace and not strife . Amen. Remember He has given us His peace which enables the word to take deep roots in our spirit. John 16:33(ESV)"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF HABAKKUK 2:3 (ESV)


"For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.”




10 KEYS- THE MYSTERY OF WAITING.



1. Waiting has the power of renewing our strength in the Lord .The importance of our inner strength is to be able to run this salvation race to the very end without giving up on the way .Is not an immediate gratification kind of thing, lest we lose the strength to continue after we have gotten the blessing .Key- After so many victories , David lost the "strength" to go for the next battle and that led to what Israel is facing today .(2 Sam 12: 10). David was the King of Israel ( 2 Sam 11:1) . Key - Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)"But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." .The strength to continue after the victory , is gotten while we wait .Note - is not everyone that is going to be happy with you concerning your victory , many will be very disappointed , so you acquire the needed strength to go through it now while you are waiting. your emotions, your inner strength is being built up in preparation for your victory . So even if the people ,.relations, friends you expect will not celebrate your victory with you , you are strong and not moved .  John 9:8(Msg)"Soon the town was buzzing. His relatives and those who year after year had seen him as a blind man begging were saying, “Why, isn't this the man we knew, who sat here and begged?” .Not everybody was happy that he could now see .
2. One powerful thing that waiting does is it has the power of establishing our peace .Most times we fret over things we shouldn't fret about because our trust in God has not grown to that perfect state were we don't even waver anymore . Now let me use this analogy of an airplane to illustrate this point , the higher a plane goes into the air the lesser the noise or vibration the plane experiences.Now it also works spiritually like this too , the more word you have hidden inside your spirit the lesser the noise (worries and anxiety) you experience in the midst of a storm .The word becomes like an anchor (Heb 6:19) for your soul keeping it from drifting away into anxiety and worries , that is what the power of waiting does , it helps you to experience His peace ( that needed assurance ) in the midst of your storms. It establishes your level of peace in Christ . John 16:33(NLT)" have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” Heb 6:19 (NLT)"This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary."
3. The power of trust - Is established when we wait on the Lord . Trust is a very vital key to receiving . Why? Waiting brings our trust level to that point , were we can't doubt Him anymore . we just know in our spirit that this "thing" is done . No more doubts about it . It is in our waiting we learn how to trust God at all times .Trust is established in our waiting .Psalm 62:8 :(ESV)"Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah”
4. The power of confidence - waiting upon the Lord has a way of establishing our level of strong confidence in the Lord . The longer the wait the stronger our confidence becomes .And confidence has the power of unlocking our great and glorious compensation of reward .Meaning the waiting will be adequately rewarded, glory to God . Heb 10:36 (Amp)" For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.”
5. The spirit of fear - Now here is what the power of waiting does , it has the power to destroy the spirit of fear . The longer the wait ,the more our trust is built , the more our confidence in God is established and the more it flushes away every spirit of fear .Why? we are simply sure God will deliver . Joel 2:32"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.”
6. The power of Faith - because we have become fearless , faith has no option now but to keep growing and growing until it reaches that level of maturity , when we speak to that "mountain" in our lives and it is done . Joshua didn't just speak to the sun and it stood still on that day . He most have perceived that idea in His heart as a weapon he was going to use one day on the battle field for sometime. And when the time was right (faith level) the opportunity came and he spoke ..it happened as he expected . Joshua 10:12"Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.”
7. The power of self control - Self control is never learnt in a day . People who have the grace to control their anger, forgive those who hurt them, was never learnt in a day . It took them years of continuous practice and prayers for them to bring it under perfect divine control . And waiting has the power of putting this in check before the blessing comes (fresh anointing , power , wealth etc) lest you become destructive with the power bestowed upon you then like Elijah who was provoked and it lead to the death of 42 ignorant children . 2 Kings 2:24 (ESV)"And he turned around, and when he saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. And two she-bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the boys.”
8. The power of experience - Waiting brings about experience. The longer the wait the more experienced in wisdom , knowledge , divine ideas , solutions to impossible matters you become. waiting unearths these divine secrets and puts you on top of your game . Daniel , Joseph , David are   all shining examples here .1 Sam 16:18 ;Daniel 5:12 ;Gen 41:15 (NLT)"Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I had a dream last night, and no one here can tell me what it means. But I have heard that when you hear about a dream you can interpret it.”
9. The power of the fruits of the Spirit (love joy , peace , longsuffering ,gentleness etc)are brought into perfection/maturity in waiting. Gal 5:22,23 (Amp)" But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].”
10. The power of Authority - you cannot give a command for something to be done or happen , if you have not being trained in it . if your faith has not being trained for it , your confidence , trust has not being worked upon . It won't move. Jesus gave a command to the fig tree to die and it did . Why? years of preparation . 30 years of training for a 3 year ministry. Rome was not built in a day the saying goes . It takes years of practice and some hard work. Jesus went up early to the mountain to pray . question ? How early do you get up to pray ? Mark 1:35"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He got up, went out, and made His way to a deserted place. And He was praying there. " This is what the power of waiting does .Amen.

"For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere."



10 KEYS- WHAT TO DO IN A DEMONIC INFESTED ENVIRONMENT .



1.The devil's agents (human agents) -Are everywhere , running away without knowing what to do, is am attempt in futility.Key- They don't need to know you , you don't need to know them , once they identify you spiritually as a child of God , you become their major assignment for destruction .The key to living amongst them is simple .you never attack them verbally or allow them to provoked you. Always be one step ahead . Key into what Jesus said in scripture Matt 10:16(Amp)" Behold, I am sending you out like sheep in the midst of wolves; be wary and wise as serpents, and be innocent (harmless, guileless, and without falsity) as doves." See where you are in as a training ground in preparing you for where the Lord is taking you to and stop the fretting .Hold your peace and do your battle in your closet .pray "hard" .Matt 6:6(Amp)" But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open.
2.Listen , is no big deal . They will surely attack you fiercely. But let the truth (word) you know be your shield and buckler at such times (Psalm 91:4) .Now learn the key why you are being attacked fiercely . An enemy that knows his time is very short ,about to end ,what do you think would be his reaction ? listen, you are getting close to something big , don't give up praying now . pray harder and more fiercely , using the sword of the spirit , which is the word to fight . Learn what Jesus did , when the battle grew worse. Luke 22:44(Amp)" And being in an agony [of mind], He prayed [all the] more earnestly and intently, and His sweat became like great clots of blood dropping down upon the ground."
3.See the other side of the story , so you won't get easily discouraged .1. The more the attacks , the more your faith grows in it .2 . If it is not working for your good God will not allow it . you might not understand it yet , but you sure will later .only believe it ..3. After the storm comes the testimony ,
not before .4. you re being trained on how to fight spiritually . if you can deal with five demons , you can deal with ten and more when you are properly trained , something David learnt from scripture Psalm 144:1(NLT)" A psalm of David. Praise the LORD, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle." . so see it as a training ground and deal with them using the word in prayer . Remember . Roms 8:37 (NLT)"No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us."
4. I would encourage you to use your anointing oil ,it works , especially if the area is heavily infested. Ask your pastor to pray over it , believe and use it by faith . The attacks might increase , because of the effect.demons react to it , but you are winning . Don't be discouraged. Use it before you go out and before you sleep too, after you finish praying. The key is the word and what you believe "oil" will always work for you by faith . Amen. Matt 9:29(NIV)"Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith let it be done to you".
5.Fervent prayers is good , but fervent prayers without a good knowledge of the word is not good . When you come into His presence , there is a need to remind Him again of what He has said concerning the devil and all his demons .Ex- father your word says in the book of Psalm 37:17 the arm (powers) of the wicked shall be broken , father your word says in the book of Psalm 58:10 I shall rejoice when I see your vengeance . Lord avenge now in the name of Jesus "amen. and you go on and on , reminding him of scriptures Isaiah 62:6 (Amp)" I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who [are His servants and by your prayers] put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence,."
6.Keep your praise on - In spiritual warfare , you use everything to fight , prayers , praise , confessions , speaking in tongues etc. When the battle seems to be getting tough in prayers , you switch to praises . prayers- angels go to work .(Psalm 103:20), praise -God goes to work .( Psalm 67:5,6).
7.The blood of Jesus - from personal experience in spiritual warfares , the blood has potential powers in destroying the powers of darkness heavily . demons don't like the blood of Jesus . That was what threw their Master out of heaven the blood of the lamb . so always plead the blood over your self , family and home . Rev 12:11(Amp)" And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing]." Even when the attack increases ,you are winning , continue .
8.Avoid sin as much as possible , you cannot defeat the enemy in their own play ground . Eccl 10:8b(Amp)"and whoever breaks through a fence or a [stone] wall, a serpent will bite him."
9.Fasting- Is a very strong weapon to use .It strengthens your spirit to become more spiritually sensitive to God's voice and builds up your faith to believe the word of God . see more details from the book of Isaiah 58 . you can choose the time of your fast according to your ability.
10.And finally , never let go of that joy - If there is any weapon I know Satan does not have an anti-dote to is the force of joy . How do you attack a man who is always joyful? Even if you attack him fiercely , you still see him beaming with a bright smile joyfully , thanking the Lord .Amen. . John 15:11(Amp)" I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing."

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF JOB 30:1


"But now those younger than I mock me, Whose fathers I disdained to put with the dogs of my flock”.


10 WAYS TO OVERCOME MOCKERY.



1. Don't let that hope drop - Most times when we are mocked , rather than focus on Jesus (Heb 12:2) , we focus on the creature/person/situation bringing the mockery. . lol. no !.Listen , you look at it you miss it . Set your mind above and not on what is bringing the mockery .See yourself as God sees you "unblamable" .Col 3:2 And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth." Hear what God is saying from the book of Isaiah 51:13(NLT)"Yet you have forgotten the LORD, your Creator, the one who stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. Will you remain in constant dread of human oppressors? Will you continue to fear the anger of your enemies? Where is their fury and anger now? It is gone!”
2. Shut discouragement out - That is what the enemy is waiting for you to do, to look down , discouraged like there is no hope .lol. Listen ,you ve a living hope in Jesus (1 Peter 1:8) Is not the time to be discouraged . If you do you will lose the needed strength (joy) to fight the good fight of faith and win . Rather Key into Isaiah 54 :1-4 . Notice the first word there "Sing" link verse 1 to verse 3 and get the key " For thou shall break forth" when you obey verse one. verse 3 "For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.” The power is in your mouth to change that situation .Turn it into praise , dance if you can , rejoice in the lord and be joyful . joy is a spiritual force , praise is a spiritual force . it will change it .see Jer 33:11b" and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD. .When we praise Him , He steps into the case an reverses it back to honor.
3. Let not your faith waver. Be strong and stand firm against it. Remember the word of God is your shield and buckler. Psalm 91:4b . Don't give it a second thought .Envy is usually the spirit behind it . Know who you are .The child of a King (God) not a slave .Amen. Prov 24:10 (see verse 5) . Zech 8:13 (Amp)"And as you have been a curse and a byword among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. Fear not, but let your hands be strong and hardened.” Look that mockery in the eye and tell it to get lost . you God got your back. Isa 41:10.
4. Scripture says having done all, Stand in faith. Stand in hope (expectation of your desired miracle) Stand in joy. Amen. Eph 6:13 (Amp)"Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].”
5. Take no offence ( John 16:1 ) - let God handle it , His own way.play you on part well , remain joyful. (James 1:2) If there is anything , I have come to learn from personal experience , God hates it when He sees His children being mocked . hmmm, He pays back , I can assure you of this . 6. Praise and give God thanks the more . Listen it works , it takes your faith higher and keeps your spirit alive , fresh from all bitterness and hate .Hab 3:17,18(Amp)" Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation!” Simply put - despite the shame , I will not be moved . I will still rejoice and praise Him. Miracles do happen at such moments 7. If it is hard for you take your mind of it , here is what you do , go out and make yourself happy . you don't need somebody to help you do that , do it yourself . go shopping , get some funny movies to watch ,get your favorite song and dance to it . Amen . make yourself   happy , while you focus on what God is doing and showing you in your spirit . John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
8. There is power in you - Now here is the key-  if you fail to use it , the enemy will use it against you (negative thoughts). Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. " Declare God's promises over your life and stand your ground in faith. for by faith you will put an end to the mockery (fiery darts of the wicked) .( Eph 6:16) . Faith is looking up to God and not your circumstances/your shame .
9. Confession - words are powerful .Say what God would say at any given situation (1 Peter 4:11) NLT . Key Gen 1:3-  the earth was without form or void ( darkness and confusion everywhere ) but what did God say , he was not moved by it ,the situation at hand mocked God , but rather than look at the mockery he commanded for light to come and it did by faith . Amen. Say what you want to see in your life and not what the enemy is trying to do . Amen. Gen 1:3"And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.” Command your light , go ahead and speak . Amen. Mark 11:23 ;Jer 1:11,12 .
10.Finally , seize the opportunity to ask the lord for something .Is an opportunity I tell you how , read John 15:7 . If you dwell in Him and His word "promises" dwells in you , He says ask whatever you want and it shall be done. key - rather than fall for the trick of the enemy , allow His word to dwell in your heart/spirit richly , so you can ask, using that platform .I do it laughing all the time and He answers . John 15:7(NLT)"But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!" Amen.

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF ISAIAH 26:3 (NIV)


"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”




10 OPPORTUNITIES TO TRUST IN GOD .




1. When faced with a challenge - You don't fall into self pity , it will only get worse and it will open the door for the enemy to attack you further with depression. See it as an opportunity to trust Him now and key into His peace. Amen. Isaiah 30:15(ESV)"For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” But you were unwilling,”
2. When everything seems to be falling at every point - Is an opportunity for you to trust Him with your faith again . Why? As believers we all live by faith , everything we do is by faith , we pray by faith and we encourage ourselves again by faith . Here is the key - you pray and trust Him . Now this is what it does if you trust Him at such times . Your faith grows, confidence is being built and your prayer at such moments is becoming effective . Is an opportunity. 2 Cor 4:17(NIV)"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”
3. When under severe attack - It is an opportunity to show Him just like the three Hebrew boys in the book of Daniel, that even if you would not save me , I would still not bow down to the devil. This is one thing I know about God , He takes delight when He sees you trust Him like that. He is provoked to step in because of your hardened faith in Him.. Now here is the opportunity , you trust Him you get paid (rewarded) you go back you lose the reward . Heb 10:38,39" Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man drawback, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”
4. When the enemy is attacking and bombarding you from every side with the spirit of discouragement ,fear, doubt -Simply put -you are close to your finishing line . Don't fall for that trick . Is an opportunity to act your faith and trust Him now. Here is the key found in the book of Zech 8:13(NLT)"Among the other nations, Judah and Israel became symbols of a cursed nation. But no longer! Now I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing. So don't be afraid. Be strong, and get on with rebuilding the Temple!". Key - fear will attract a curse , trust will bring a rescue . go for the opportunity and trust Him.
5. When your faith is being tested by fire - Key - fire only purifies a believer and it cannot consume him . Why? Isaiah 43:2 says when you go through it , not when you stay in the fire .Here is my key when I go "through" the fire/ a serious challenge . I pray more and hold my peace as a weapon , thereby allowing what good the Lord has prepared in the fire to come to me . Job 2:21(ESV)"“Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.”
6. When faced with mockery -A Man of God once said "If they don't mock you , how can God make you". See it is an opportunity . Cross the bridge of mockery and step into your miracle . Listen after Jesus was laughed to scorn , the miracle took place not before . Don't fall for the mockery ,is an opportunity again to trust Him. Go for the miracle and see beyond your shame . Mark 5:40,41 "And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying."Holding her hand, he said to her, "Talithakoum," which means "Little girl, get up!”
7. When the enemy makes you feel your God is a liar.see (Roms 3:4)-Is an opportunity .Time to change gears and prove the devil wrong . This is the key - you remain steadfast and lock unto the word/promise . Most times , the enemy has seen what is coming and tries to discourage you by every means . Is an opportunity . Trust Him. 1 Cor 15:58 (NIV)"Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
8. When in doubt - Is an opportunity to trust Him. Why ? His word is what sustains and holds the earth together. (Heb 1:3) So rather than doubt ,  trust what holds the earth together .His "WORD"! !Psalm 138:2" I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy "WORD" above all thy name.”
9. When you feel helpless - Is an opportunity . Why? He is the God of the helpless. So when the case becomes helpless is an opportunity for you to trust the God of the helpless. Zep 3:19(NLT)"And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed.”
10. When in face of defeat -two examples from scripture and I am done . Heb 10:38 (ESV)"but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” -If you turn your back you are bound to face the consequences . The three Hebrew boys in the book of Daniel 3:18 braved it and they conquered and were promoted .Daniel 3:30(NLT)"Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to even higher positions in the province of Babylon."
