  "Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many." 



10 KEYS DEALING WITH THE ROOTS OF BITTERNESS



1. Prayers - Prayer renews our strength in the lord , prayer invites His presence into our situation , prayer heals our pains . Jesus in the book of Luke 22:44 Jesus being found in an agony prayed the more .Why ? to receive strength  to face the death on the cross . So what do we do when we get bitter , rather than allow our flesh to prevail ,we turn it into prayer and pour out our heart unto the lord for help .Psalm 62:8 (NIV)"Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge."
2.Be full of joy - joy has a way of healing our bitter hearts . Why? the spirit of joy comes from His presence and when we are in His presence , bitterness cannot stay .Why? when you are in His presence , you also joy His love and His love never fails , is one of the greatest gifts in scripture . 1 Cor 13:13(NIV)"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
3.Love - the power of love - why did Jesus say to love our enemies , because He knows we would encounter issues like bitterness , hatred etc. but love has the power of destroying the works of bitterness in our lives . Why ? true love remembers no wrongs .And the more you love God as the first commandment given to us in scripture the more grace that comes upon you to fulfil the second
commandment. Matt 22:37-39 (Amp)37 And Jesus replied to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’"
4.Thoughts - bitterness always springs forth from our thoughts. What we think about , the hurts , pains leads us to becoming bitter . but there is a cure for it , when we deliberately choose the kind of thoughts that we allow in our hearts. Scripture says it well in Phil 4:8 (NIV)"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things."
5.Knowledge - bible says it better - what you know is what will deliver you in times of crises (Prov 11:9b)"An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered." . but if you faint in the times of adversity , your strenght( the knowledge of what you know ) is small. prov 24:10"If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small."
6.power of forgiveness - Once you forgive , automatically there is a release in your spirit . Is hard at times . but it is up to you if you truly want to be release from your captivity. When Peter asked Jesus a question in scripture , how
many times should he forgive his brother Jesus answered back 70 times 70 .Matt 18:22 (NLT)"No, not seven times," Jesus replied, "but seventy times seven!"
7. The power of worship - worship heals , worship purifies the soul ,worship invites the Master into our situation and when He comes purification of the heart takes place. Ezekiel 36:25(ESV)"I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you."
8.The power of expectation - When you are expectant , you would ensure that nothing comes between you and your blessing . The Canaanite women who had an issue , did not mind when Jesus called her , she was not bitter but expectant . The power of her expectation released her MIRACLE .Matt 15:28"Then Jesus said to her, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed at that moment."
9.Step up your faith - If you can do it , it works . give a gift to the one who has made you bitter . It does two things , it humbles you before God and transfers the bitterness to Him to take care of .1 Peter 5:7(NLT)"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you."
10.The power of understanding - when you understand the effects of bitterness ,what it does . It becomes easy for you to avoid it . bitterness will always hinder your faith from working as it should , bitterness will deny you of your peace , bitterness will cause you only to become more bitter not better. David knew this and what did he do ? 1 Sam 18:14"And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him."

hello , wow ...you are blessed . wow ...So sorry , I apologise again , I am experiencing  some serious network challenges . I am planning on changing networks . I have already prepared my lessons from the book of Hebrews 12:15 . So anytime you don't see me post , is not as if it is not ready , but I face network challenges . I sincerely apologise , I am looking for a way out . hopefully I intend coming out with an Ecopy of my life lessons , so you can just have it in your ipad or system anytime you need it . LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF JEREMIAH 1:19 (Amp Version)

"And they shall fight against you, but they shall not [finally] prevail against you, for I am with you, says the Lord, to deliver you."




1. In life you will face challenges. So what you are facing now , is what you have been told in scriptures . Isaiah 43:2 (NLT Version) "
 When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you." Hold on , it will soon be over in Jesus name ,Amen.
2. For every vision the lord has given/shown you , get ready for a fight (lol) . So brace up , don't give up ; but fight the good fight of faith . Amen . 2 Tim 4:7 (NLT) "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. " You will win in Jesus name ,Amen.
3. It will look like they are winning , when the fight gets tough, but it is still not the end , so don't give up . Keep at it and ask the lord for strength . Isaiah 40:29(NLT Version )"He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless."
4. The fight is not to destroy you ; but to build you up and harden you to difficulties . Amen. Isaiah 41:10 (Amp Version) "Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. "
5. It has been settled in heaven concerning you ; that they shall not prevail . That is good news . So cheer up and continue to fight .psalm 119:89 (Amp Version) "Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven [stands firm as the heavens].
6. It has been predicted by the God who never lies , the only faithful and truthful God, that finally you will win at the end . Shout Hallelujah !! So see your end and not the process to your victorious ending . Amen. Isaiah 14:24 (Amp Version ) "The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely, as I have thought and planned, so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand."
7. The fight is a testimony of the truth of what God said . they will do Amen. So don't be discouraged .Num 23:19(NIV)"God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?"
8.The fight is simply for one reason , God wants to use you as a show piece of His greatness . Isaiah 45:18(Amp)"For thus says the Lord—Who created the heavens, God Himself, Who formed the earth and made it, Who established it and did not create it to be a worthless waste; He formed it to be inhabited—I am the Lord, and there is no one else.
9. The fight is only a testimony , the world is waiting for you to share .Luke 21:13 (Amp)"This will be a time (an opportunity) for you to bear testimony."
10. Keep giving thanks and let it not move you . Amen. 1 Thess 5:18(Amp)"Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]."

Hi , I apologise sincerely to you with love from my heart . sorry I have not being able to post any of my new lessons on my blog for some days . wow.... so many things are drawing my time "ahhhh"l.  but not withstanding , by His grace I promise to upload a new lesson this week from the book of Psalm 27:13. but before then I will re-post the one I had done earlier from my archives so it might be a blessing to someone today .
