LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF PROVERB 23: 17-18
"Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long.
For surely there is and end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off."
1. As a child of God , you must pass through that route call envy. Is what I call part of the "growing" up process. lol
2. Envy creeps in , when the waiting process seems to be too long. Scriptures say in Habakkuk 2:3 " though it tarry , wait for it ; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." So as children of God we wait , is part of the process, for you to grow into maturity. Galatians 4:1 - paints it more like this " Now I say, that the heir , as long as he is a child , differeth nothing from a servant , though he be lord of all ". so as long as that childish attitude "envy" is still there, God still has some work to do .
3.Envy is like a virus , that can easily spread in your life , if not controlled.
4. Envy stops "the blessing" from flowing. why? Is only a matter of time , it can cause a good Christian to have a very bad attitude.
5. Faith receives , envy stops faith from receiving.
But the good news is , when you don't envy people, you open the door for your expectations to become testimonies and give God the chance to bring to an end every stubborn Goliath on your way to greatness.
The key is this , always picture what God is doing in your life, if you can see it , I can assure you , you won't have any need to envy others. why ? it's always mind blowing . I drop you a hint , of what I mean, from the book of Micah 7:16 (NLT TRANSLATION) says " All the nations of the world will stand amazed at what the lord will do for you. they will be embarrassed at their feeble power. they will cover their mouth in silent awe , deaf to everything around them."
PRAY A SIMPLE PRAYER LIKE THIS - FATHER OPEN MY EYES TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN MY LIFE ,IN THE NAME OF JESUS, AMEN. BE BLESSED.
DON,T GIVE UP ! YOU WILL SURELY MAKE IT , IN JESUS NAME , AMEN.
