10 KEYS - THE POWER OF WAITING
 


1.Waiting is like a seed that dies in the ground when its planted , but brings forth a great harvest when it has grown into full maturity . Mark 4:29(NIV)"As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come."
2.waiting develops your spiritual muscles . your outer man might be weary and tired , but your spirit man is being developed into maturity .2 cor 4:16(ISV)"That's why we are not discouraged. No, even if outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are being renewed each and every day. "
3. waiting is a weapon against the enemy , is telling Satan and all the host of hell , even if he slay me , I will wait because I know my change is coming . The end result of Job shall become your testimony in Jesus name , Amen. Job 14:14(NASB)""If a man dies, will he live again? All the days of my struggle I will wait Until my change comes."
4.waiting is what God uses in bringing out things from our lives , that are not yet matured .1 cor 13:11(NIV)"When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me."
5.waiting uncovers the weakness of your enemy . In the course of your waiting , you will now be able to discern were the weakness of your enemy lies .Prov 10:24(NIV)"What the wicked dread will overtake them; what the righteous desire will be granted."
6.your waiting this season , prepares you for the battle next season .Why? Experience from your previous season of "waiting" will cause you to know the kind of weapon to use against the enemy in your new season .Is not every weapon that can bring down a particular kind of enemy. you have to know the weapon to use or combine together . either the five smooth stones like David (determination , faith ,boldness ,confidence , trust) or just praise or like Solomon a sacrificial offering to bring down the Goliath of that season . The key is in your next season , you will know what to do .John 6:6(NIV)"He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do."
7.waiting brings honor to God, because in the course of time ,people will come to believe that you believe in your God and you are not a fake .The world is watching you !2 cor 3:2 (NIV)"You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone."
8.your waiting gives birth to the unsual .How ? your faith muscles would have being developed to receive the unsual from God . Isa 64:4"For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him."
9.waiting humbles you . without you knowing it . When you long for something that is not forth coming immediately , your secret pride begins to die silently even without you knowing , that by the time you receive it , you are humbled before God and man . James 4:10(NIV)"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor."
10.waiting has levels and goes along with training .Waiting for a child is different from "waiting" for that kind of "anointing" that raises the dead and opens the eyes of the blind . It has levels . What are you waiting for ? will determine the length of the preparation for it. psalm 40:1 (Msg)"I waited and waited and waited for God. At last he looked; finally he listened."
