10 KEYS- THE FORCE OF JOY (PART 2)

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF JOHN 15:11 (NLT)

"I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!"

1.Joy activates God's presence around you all the time .Psalm 16:11 (NASB)"You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever." Key- Always see your challenge with the eyes of faith . "It has an end" .

2. Joy is what keeps the other fruits of the spirits in you working . why is that ? A man who is not joyful , how can he walk in love ? joy activates the power of love in him , why ? he knows Roms 8:28 is working for him ."And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." (NLT)

3. Joy activates the power in the word that faith works with . without joy , faith is limited . Mark 9:24 "And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." joy was what he needed to add to his faith. tears will never activate your faith.

4. How do you offend a man who is always joyful . when he operates internally not externally. Roms 8:6(NLT)"So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace."

5. Joy helps you to see the end from the beginning. Heb 12:2(Amp)"Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

6. Joy stabilizes your faith , it keeps it from wavering . why ? you trust Him. Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."

7. Joy keeps you going , when everything is telling you is all a waste of time . 1 cor 15:58(NIV)"Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

8. Satan don't know what to do with joyful people . lol. Till date I don't think he has gotten an anti-dote weapon to use against the spirit of joy . job 5:22 "At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth." Key- How do you attack a man that laughs? 

9. Joy is medicinal .It keeps you looking healthy and fresh . Joy is key. Prov 17:22 (NLT)"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength."

10. Demons can't stand the presence of joy . why ? How can they come into God's presence. your joy is a weapon against the enemy . Phil 4:4 (NIV)"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"
