LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF ISAIAH 43:2 AND  DEUTERONOMY 6:10,11

"When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you."

"And when the Lord your God brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you, with great and goodly cities which you did not build,11 And houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and cisterns hewn out which you did not hew, and vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and when you eat and are full,."

 

1.If you jump the first season into the second , you will lose it and return back to the first season  . Why? What you have no knowledge about you can't handle. The prodigal son suffered this experience... Luke 15:13 (NIV)" Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living."

2 The first season  teaches you some very basic principles of the Kingdom . The fruits of the Holy Spirit ie. faith , love , joy , long suffering, humility , forgiveness etc in preparation for the second season . Roms 8:18(ESV)"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us." where ? In your second season.

3."When" means it has been pre-determined before you came to this earth , that you are going to pass through this phase of your life . But the good news is there are two seasons.Patiently wait for the second season , listen it will surely come . Amen. Isaiah 14:24(NIV)"The LORD Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen."

4. There is no where in scripture , that it was recorded the children of Israel went back to Egypt , after they crossed the first season of their lives . What am I saying , once you cross over to the second phase of your life/season  there is no going back to Egypt. The pain is over. Eccl 3:14(Amp)"I know that whatever God does, it endures forever; nothing can be added to it nor anything taken from it. And God does it so that men will [reverently] fear Him [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is]." 

5. The first phase of the journey is never pleasant ; rejection , shame , reproach , disappointment , loneliness you will surely experience in your first season , but never give up , because the journey is not over yet. For He has promised to see us through the first phase of it. Joshua 1:9(NIV)"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

6.In this first part of the journey , you need to conserve your strength so you won't breakdown on the way. I give you two scriptures that has always worked for me .Roms 12:12 and Isaiah 30:15 (NIV) . At times you just need to be quite and endure the pain , for it shall surely pass away in Jesus name , Amen. Isaiah 30:15(NIV) " This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it."

7.Because of the weight of the blessing in the second season , the journey of the first at times takes a little longer.But get ready for your second season , it will surely come  , Amen. Heb 10:37(NIV)"For, "In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay."  Jesus is on His way to rescue you.

8.The first phase has its own seasons of dryness , lack  ,extreme difficulties etc , likewise the second season from riches to the level of flourishing .Psalm 92:14"They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;"

9. When you are coming into your second season, one thing will be noticed in your life for sure . The fear of God . Ask Joseph in  the book of Gen 42:18 (NIV)"On the third day, Joseph said to them, "Do this and you will live, for I fear God:"

10.Finally , in your second season, your life then willbe all about Jesus . Why? you will have so many stories to share with those who are still in their first season , to encourage them , pray with them , support them and ensure they get into their second season . All to the glory of Him that has made the heavens and Earth . Amen. Heb 3:13(NIV)"But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "Today," so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness."
