10 KEYS - UNTIL YOU COME OF AGE FOR THE BLESSING

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF JOHN 9:21 (Msg)

"His parents said, “We know he is our son, and we know he was born blind. But we don’t know how he came to see—haven’t a clue about who opened his eyes. Why don’t you ask him? He’s a grown man and can speak for himself."

1.Patience - until you come of age ,is a class you must pass with distinction . Why? patience is what God uses to prepare us for the blessing. And from experience , I have come to realize without patience ,is difficult to walk with God . But here is the key - He is a timely God .you grow every day spiritually . just like a child in the physical that has grown into an adult . Is a step by step process . So as long as you are growing in the dark, you never lose hope , because as long as you can still see the vision , you are growing towards it , not from it . Amen. Gal 4:1 (NLT)"Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had."

2.Until you come of age ,you have to master the art of walking in love . Why? without it , your faith cannot grow and it is a key  to surviving in any environment you find yourself until you come of age . Gal 5:6(NIV)"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love"

3. Until you come of age and after, prayer is a rule . why? When you come into your inheritance , if you re not experienced in handling weighty  matters in prayer , you would give up . Why? When Elijah was confronted with the Prophets of baal , he could handle it , without getting scared of the opposition .Key- It will still take holy boldness and confidence to handle what God has prepared for you in the face of haters and those that think you still don't deserve the blessing . Isaiah 64:4"For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him."

4. Until you come of age , you have to learn well , how to bridle your tongue . Why? Elijah opened his mouth in anger and forty two kids died.( 2 Kings 2:24) . Hezekiah opened his mouth to the envoys from Babylon and he lost the blessings.(2 Kings 20:17)  .proverbs 13:3 (NLT)"Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything."

5. Humility is a key before you come of age. - David said in scripture in my prosperity I shall never be moved. why? wealth has a way of making a good believer have a loose tongue if he is not careful .Psalm 30:6 (kjv).1 Peter 5:5"for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble."

6. Self control against the opposite sex. God takes His time in training His children in this area . Why? Wealth attracts " strange" women and without self discipline and proper training , it can bring destruction rather than a blessing . you doubt , ask Samson what happened to his eyes.(Judges 16:21) .Prov 5:5 "Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. ".

7.Until you come of age , you have to be someone that knows how to give . Why? Is a faith principle. Luke 16:10(NLT)"If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities"

8.until you come of age , you have to be a man that knows how to appreciate God for the small things He does for you , so when you receive the bigger one , you will not forget to give thanks and appreciate Him . Deu 6:11,12(Msg)"When you take it all in and settle down, pleased and content, make sure you don’t forget how you got there—God brought you out of slavery in Egypt."

9.Faith - everything in the kingdom is done by faith . so until you come of age , you need to learn how to use your faith at all times  . Why? Faith is what we use in transacting our business in the Kingdom .Hab 2:4b"but the just shall live by his faith"

10.Until you come of age you will surely be tested . He will test your love for Him , your love for your fellow believers and unbelievers , your patience will be tested . He said to Abraham give me that which you love so much . Gen 22:2 (NLT)" Take your son, your only son--yes, Isaac, whom you love so much--and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you."
