1. Patience perfects our faith .How? faith does not grow over night. Is not a micro -wave process .It takes time . Isaiah 28:10(ESV)"For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.” .
2.God uses patience to build us up , not as babes but as son's of God .Heb 5:14 (Msg)"Milk is for beginners, inexperienced in God’s ways; solid food is for the mature, who have some practice in telling right from wrong."
3.Patience is hard work , but in the process of time , we become fully persuaded about the truth in God's word. Roms 4:21 (NIV)"being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised."
 4.God uses patience to reveal to us our true character .psalm 105:19 (NLT)"Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the LORD tested Joseph's character.
5.The more you go around a particular mountain , the more tired you become and you begin to drop those old/bad habits. Job made a covenant with his eyes , not because he wanted to, but because he got tired of going round that particular mountain .Job 31:1(NIV)"I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman"
6.Patience will always expose the hidden enemy around you.Luke 8:17 (NIV)"For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open."
7.God desires for us to become like him in character.So patience is simply one of the tools he uses . Roms 15:5"Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be unanimous among yourselves according to Christ Jesus,"
8.Patience is another method of spiritual warfare.After you have prayed to God , be patient and stand firm. James 5:8(NIV)"You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near."
9.God uses patience to show us the way of escape .1 cor 10:13 (NIV)"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
10. There are certain deep truths , you will never understand , except you are patient .Roms 5:3-4 "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
