LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF 1 KINGS 18:43 (NLT)

"Then he said to his servant, "Go and look out toward the sea." The servant went and looked, then returned to Elijah and said, "I didn't see anything." Seven times Elijah told him to go and look."

10 KEYS -WHEN YOU CAN'T SEE ANYTHING COMING.

1.Rule number one - your carnal mind will never show you that there is something good coming .so don't count on it .believe what the Lord is showing you in your mind/spirit .Remember you are a spirit being and the spirit is more stronger than your flesh (physical senses).David prayed to God for his eyes to be opened in Psalm 119:18 "Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law." .Key- when God shows you something good in your mind "grab" it with both hands.listen it exist , you can only receive it by faith , nothing else.

2.Your physical senses will never sense anything coming but the "facts" lol . Time to cast your fleshly imaginations down and pick up your spiritual antenna to receive what is coming . 2 cor 10 :5"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."

3.God will not show what is coming to the proud . Why? scripture says it better in the book of 1 Peter 5:5(ESV)"Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Key- when we doubt God , we are being proud . when we believe Him we re humble . Is a revelation I found out ." think"

4.Anytime you humble yourself before God by believing His word , He does not only show you what is coming , but tells you via His word what is coming . Why? He knows you believe Him. Prov 22:4"By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life."

5.Elijah was persistent . Now this is the key - you quit at such time you don't see "anything" you lose . you remain  steadfast and keep seeking His face for a way out . 1 cor 10:13(NLT)"The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure."

6.When you can't see anything coming , is time to hold on to the word , time to appreciate God with the word He has promised you , time to confess the word and don't doubt.  Isaiah 62:6b (Amp)"you who [are His servants and by your prayers] put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence."

7. Elijah heard a sound "God's voice"  what did he do ? He keyed into it , without a doubt of what anybody said or told him.Key - when God has told you something lock unto it with faith and great expectations . Daniel 11:32"but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."  When you know God , you will see the right results.

8.Elijah was fully persuaded about the sound he heard . If you re not fully persuaded , the enemy can push you to still "doubt" the very word you have been given.Key- Even when you don't understand it , believe God  and become fully persuaded . you would be amazed at the results of what you would see. Eph 3:20 (Amp)" Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us," where is this power ? In "YOU". Abraham was fully persuaded . Roms 4:21(NLT)"being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised."

9.The miracle  happened the 7th time . You never can tell how close you are to your testimony. miracle , a major breakthrough in your business , work . when you are tempted to give up , it might just be your sixth time in God's eyes , one more try , the 7th time "hmmm" can just be it . . Key - Elijah prayed again. James 5:17(NLT)"Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.". If Elijah had not prayed again, the sky would not have brought down rain ." if Elijah had not prayed again , there would have been no rain.  Try again!

10.Elijah did not allow people to distract him , peoples opinion etc. when you know you are "breakthrough" pregnant , be careful of distractors . Keep your focus at such times and you can never miss it in Jesus name , amen. Phil 4:8.(Amp)"For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
