"Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it."





10 KEYS - THE MYSTERY OF WAITING .PART 2



1.Waiting is like a seed that dies in the ground when its planted , but brings forth a great harvest when it has grown into full maturity . Mark 4:29(NIV)"As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come."
2.Waiting develops your spiritual muscles . your outer man might be weary and tired , but your spirit man is being developed into maturity .2 Cor 4:16 (NLT)"That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day."
3. Waiting is a weapon against the enemy . Is telling Satan and all the host of hell , even if he slay me , I will wait because I know my change is coming ..Job 14:14(NASB)""If a man dies, will he live again? All the days of my struggle I will wait Until my change comes."
4.Waiting is one tool God uses in bringing out things from our life , that has not yet matured .1 Cor 13:11(NLT)"When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things."
5.Waiting uncovers the weakness of your enemy . In the course of our waiting , we now discern were the strength of our enemy lies . Eph 6:11 (ISV)"Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the devil's strategies."
6.Your waiting this season , prepares you for the battle next season .Why? you know the kind of weapon to use for a particular kind of enemy during your next season of warfare . Either the five smooth stones David used to bring down Goliath (determination , faith ,boldness ,confidence , trust) or just praise like King Jehoshaphat in (2 Chron 20:22) or like Solomon who gave a sacrificial offering and he became the wisest man in his time . The key is in your next season , you will know what to do .John 6:6" And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do."
7.Waiting honors God. Why do I say that ? because in the course of time , people will come to believe that you believe truly in the God you serve and you are not a fake .Psalm 52:9(ESV)"I will thank you forever, because you have done it. I will wait for your name, for it is good, in the presence of the godly."
8.Your waiting gives birth to the unusual .How ? waiting develops your faith muscles to receive the unusual from God . Isa 64:4"For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him."
9.Waiting humbles you . without you knowing it . When you long for something that is not forth coming immediately , your become humble before God . Pride gives way to humility before God even without your knowing , that by the time you receive it , you are humbled. James 4:10" Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up."
10.Waiting has levels and goes along with the training .waiting for a child is not the same thing as waiting for that kind of anointing that will raise the dead and opens the eyes of the blind is not still the same thing as waiting for a mega breakthrough in your job/business . It has levels . What you are waiting for will determine the length of preparation God has assigned for it. So don't be discouraged.Jesus prepared for 30 years . Moses prepared for 40 years . Psalm 40:1 (Msg)" I waited and waited and waited for God. At last he looked; finally he listened.
